Accessibility statement
Last updated: [date]
Draft for review. This policy has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and is not in force. Passages in [square brackets] still need to be completed.
We want schools, parents, and community volunteers to be able to use Friends of School regardless of ability or device. This statement is a template to complete with the product’s current accessibility assessment and local legal requirements.
Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA for the marketing site and the core parent journeys in the app, subject to the limitations and exceptions described below. The site supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, responsive text sizing, reduced motion preferences, semantic headings, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
Known limitations
The current known limitations are: [list any known issues, affected pages, and planned remediation dates]. Third-party payment pages and content supplied by a school may not be fully under our control.
Feedback and support
If something is difficult to use, email accessibility@aqualeo.co or [support address]. Tell us the page, device, browser, assistive technology if relevant, and what you were trying to do. We will acknowledge requests within [time] and aim to respond with an accessible alternative or a remediation plan.
Formal complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, contact [named accessibility owner or regulator route]. Complete this section for each market before launch.
This policy is published in English, Arabic, and Hindi. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
